(N95, KN95, 3-PLY Surgical Masks, Cloth Masks)

For the most up to date information please check with the official state web site of Nebraska.

Do I have to wear a mask? Recommended at state level. You should wear a facemask, if possible, when you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. If you are not able to wear a facemask (for example, because it causes trouble breathing), then people who live with you should not be in the same room with you, or they should wear a facemask if they enter your room.

Note: During the COVID-19 pandemic, medical grade facemasks (also called N95 masks) are reserved for healthcare workers and first responders. You may need to make a cloth face covering using a scarf or bandana. The CDC recommends that all individuals wear a cloth face covering in public, regardless of testing status.
